A revision is a new version of an existing plan. FunBIM links it to the original plan: observations already placed stay where they are, and the version history is kept.
There are two ways to do it:
- Import the new file with “Import files”: if its name matches an existing plan (same name, different revision), it is recognised and labelled “New revision” in the import window before you confirm.
- Or right-click the plan in the tree, then “New revision”: the import window opens with this plan as the target, and all you have to do is drop the new file.

If several plans have similar names, FunBIM asks you to confirm which one the new revision belongs to. Previous revisions remain available from the plan's details.
