Annotations are free-form markups on the plan — highlights, shapes, arrows, text, measurements — shared with the whole project team. They are different from observations, which are tasks with a status, a trade and a due date.
Open the plan from “Files”: the drawing toolbar appears right under the viewer's zoom bar (rectangle, highlighter, pen, line, polyline, arrow, arc, ellipse, polygon, cloud, text, measurements, stamp).
Pick a tool, set its colour in the presets on the right of the toolbar if needed, then draw on the plan: the annotation is saved automatically and other members see it the next time they open the plan. “Undo” / “Redo” and the eraser are at the far right of the toolbar.
On a tablet, the same tools are available from the plan toolbar; styluses are supported.
