How do I send an observation by email?

The clearest way to pass one or more observations on to someone — including outside FunBIM — is the PDF report: “Reports” menu, choose or create a report type filtered on the observations you want, “Generate”, then download the PDF or share its link.

For a quick table, “Excel export” or “PDF export” from the observations list produces a file ready to attach to an email.

For a project member, assigning them to the observation (“Assigned to” field) sends them a notification with the direct link, according to their notification preferences.
